Sourwood Covered Honeycomb
NEWS FLASH: Our Sourwood honey was selected as the winner in the honey category at the 2017 Good Food Awards.
As the most sought-after Honey in the Southern United States, its extra light golden color and distinctively delicate flavor cannot be mistaken. The Sourwood Tree, also called Lily of the Valley Tree, blooms in midsummer in the Mountains of North Georgia. With its caramel flavor and hints of buttery maple, it goes great on homemade biscuits, or for the tea lover it is great in an exotic Oolong or delicate White Tea. The completely edible honeycomb in the bottle makes a GREAT addition to a cheese plate. A small slice of honeycomb on top of a piece of cheese is simply THE BEST!
